Our Chosen Instrument - #6 - Kerry Bennett

Kerry Bennett is an artist that lives in the South East of England, near to where the Battle of Hastings once took part whoever you listen to, and has a passionate and deep appreciation for flora, fauna and the natural world. She was born in Argentina and grew up in Brazil where she became enchanted with the nature on her doorstep.

Painting from an early age, she strove to capture the sub-tropical essence of her surroundings, with works combining both colour and nature. Kerry's itinerant lifestyle continued when she moved to the United States to study fine art and ceramics at Palomar College, California. Having successfully completed her studies she made one more move to settle in the United Kingdom, her ancestral home, where she comes continues to paint the natural world as she sees it.

She now lives near to the coast in Battle, East Sussex from where, drawing on her unique life experiences, she paints an eclectic mix of nature, plants and animals. She can be followed on her blog and her email
